Arrangements are pending at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester.

BREMEN — Marlowe Heckaman, 96, formerly of Bremen, died, Jan. 6, 2012.
He is survived by a sister, Monvilo Harrison of Florida.
Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, with a small graveside ceremony July 10, 2012 at 3 p.m.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

BOURBON — Max J. Watkins, 81, of Bourbon passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at 6:51 p.m. in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of South Bend.
Max was born the son of Henry Watkins and Catherine Miller Watkins Feb. 28, 1931 at Bourbon. He was a lifelong resident of Bourbon. Max was a graduate of Bourbon High School class of 1949. Max was joined in marriage Jan. 3, 1953 to Eleanor Hazen who survives. He was a lifetime member of Hepton Union Church.

MISHAWAKA — William Lee Overmyer, 84, of Culver died at 10:26 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; four children, Patricia Ann Smith, Kent Overmyer, Steven Overmyer, and Michael (Debbie) Overmyer, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.

MONTEREY —  Ray W. “Bill” Arthurhultz, 64, of Monterey died May 6, 2012 at 3:14 p.m.
He is survived by sons, Steve Arthurhultz of Houston, Texas, Kelly Arthurhultz of Florida; a brother, Dan Arthurhultz of Monterey; and two grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or services.

He is survived by his wife, Virgina; five children, Dalthea (Corky) Coughlin, Jackie Wilson, Richard (Debbie) Schoner, Donna (Earl) Minnich and Cherylee Schoner and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of visitation there will be a memorial service held at the chapel in the Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, Friday, May 11, 2012 at 10 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to Adventist St. Thomas Hospice of Hinsdale, Ill.

ROCHESTER — Mrs. Joan  Smiley, 86, of Rochester, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior at 9:08 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012, after her son recited the 23rd Psalm and while her family sang Amazing Grace. Her death was due to tetanus, following an accident while preparing to garden, which was something she loved  to do. She died at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Mishawaka.

Survivors include two sons, Larry L. (Evelyn) Young of Nappanee and Rodney H.H. Young of Bremen; three daughters, Cheryl D. (Greg) Long of Angola, Susan K. (Tim) Michael of Ft. Wayne and Debra J. VanNess of Warsaw; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald (Donna) Young of Plymouth; and one daughter-in-law, Maria Yoder of Topeka.

HAMLET — Kathryn Hensler, 99, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Catherine Kasper Home, Donaldson. 
Survivors include: her children, Susan Hensler of Roscommon, Mich., John Hensler of Hamlet, Carol Emig of Evansville and Martha Trenkner of Ft. Wayne; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date. A graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Beaver Creek Township Cemetery, Crawford County, Mich.
