PLYMOUTH â Carl A. Alberts Jr., 80, of Plymouth died Nov. 27, 2012 at 11:34 p.m. at Kindred Hospital of Northern Indiana, Mishawaka.
Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Van Gilder Funeral Home; rosary prayer will be at 5 p.m.
Funeral is Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church.
Burial will be at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Van Gilder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

CULVER â George Steven Richie, 65, of Culver passed away at Goshen Health Nov. 20, 2012.
Steve was born to George Ross and Shirley (Lambert) Richie Feb. 26, 1947 in Indianapolis. After graduating high school, he obtained a bachelorâs degree. Aug. 19, 1967 he was married to Constance D. Wand in Indianapolis.Â
Steve is survived by his wife Connie of Culver and brother Jerry (Karen) Richie of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Diane Richie Jordan.

PLYMOUTH â A lifetime Plymouth resident, Elizabeth L. âBettyâ Beatty, 81, of Plymouth, passed away at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center - Mishawaka following a sudden illness.
Betty was born in Mishawaka June 23, 1931. She was the daughter of Clair L. and Ruby H. (Thomas) Gurthet. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1949 and from Manchester College in 1953. She earned her Masterâs Degree in Education from Indiana University in 1957.

CULVER â Steve Richie, 65, of Culver died Nov. 20, 2012 in Goshen.
He is survived by his wife, Connie of Culver; and brother Jerry (Karen) Richie of Indianapolis.Â
Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at the First Christian Church in Rochester from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Services will be at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be private.
Memorials may be given to The Care Foundation or the First Christian Church of Rochester.

Survivors include three daughters, Geneva Minix of Summerfield, Fla., Roberta Manns of Ocklawaha, Fla., and Odgry Silcox of Hickory, N.C.; three sons, James (Louise) Richie of North Judson, Wayne (Susan) Richie of Gibsonton, Fla., and Crocket Jr. (Kathy) Richie of Dunnellon, Fla.; three sisters, Jeanette Clemons of Jackson, Ky., Francis Bagley of Knox, and Elizabeth Neace of North Judson; 125 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Â

ROCHESTER â Catherine Brubaker, 94, of Rochester, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Gary) Wilkinson of Carmel; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ned (Millie) Bemenderfer of South Bend.

ELKHART â Martha Jane Mann, 87, a resident of Hubbard Hill Estates, Elkhart, passed away of natural causes at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012.
The daughter of Russell L. and Eva L. McCloud VanVactor, Martha was born in Plymouth, Jan. 18, 1925.
She was a 1943 graduate of Plymouth High School, where she played percussion in the band. She also played the guitar. Upon graduation, she worked for NIPSCO and enjoyed getting together with her former co-workers for many years.

PLYMOUTH â Lucille O. (Mrs. Walter) Danielson, 96, a resident of River Park since 2007, passed away at her home Wednesday morning of natural causes.
Lucille was born Nov. 24, 1915 in Kouts, the sixth of 13 children born to Ferdinand J. and Flora A. (Montgomery) Redelman.
