CULVER — Gerald L. Pike, 74, of Culver, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 in his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline of Culver; two daughters, Nannette Guard of Madisonville,Tenn., Tammy Miller of New Paris; a son, Sherman Pike of Plymouth; four stepdaughters, Cheryl R. (David) Jones of Bremen, Cara J. (Ron) Button of Bremen, Tracy E. (Chris) Harest of Chicago, Ill., Tonia S. (Tim) Tillotson of Bourbon; brother, Roger A. (Roberta) Pike of Monterey, Tenn.; sister, Carol J. (David) Morgan of Gray Lake, Ill.; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

MONTEREY — Pauline E. Chapman, 97, of Monterey, passed away at 2:36 a.m. Oct. 29, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Pauline was born in Monterey April 25, 1915 to Ferdinand and Walburga (Keller) Olds. She attended school in Monterey and after the schoolhouse burned down, finished school in a sheep barn. She was married July 4, 1937 to Lester (Bus) Chapman in Leiters Ford. He preceded her in death in February 1972.
