ROANOKE, Texas — Patricia A. Justus, 64, of Roanoke, Texas, formerly of Bremen, passed away Jan. 12, 2012. She was born Nov. 17, 1947 in Hazard, Ky. to Marcus and Mary (Hughes) Hannah. Tricia married Donald R. Justus in December 1967; he survives.

BREMEN — Betty J. Zillmer, 87, of Bremen, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 at home. She was born July 26, 1924 to Nelson and Lula (Reese) Marks in Wyatt. Aug. 30, 1942 she married Clifford D. Zillmer.

PLYMOUTH — Joan L. Drake Carlson, 75, passed away peacefully at her home at 8:37 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012.
Joan was born, the daughter of John H. and Viola May (Lee) Drake Feb. 15, 1936. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1954.
June 27, 1954, Joan and LaVerne R. “Swede” Carlson were married at the Plymouth First United Church of Christ.
Joan worked for the local G&G Grocery in Plymouth for 15 years. She retired from Walmart after working there for 15 years in September, 2008.

PLYMOUTH — Barbara Susan Sahagún, 59, of Plymouth passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 at 1:35 p.m. in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. She was born Sept. 16, 1952 in Wabash to Mario A. and Dorothy (Haavig) Sahagún.

WARSAW — Vivian H. Bower, 93, 300 Prairie St., Warsaw, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center, in Warsaw.
Vivian was born Sept. 13, 1918, in South Bend, to Brook and Pearl (Seybold) Bower. She was a former resident of Plymouth, and had lived in Warsaw since 2004. Vivian had been employed at Bosworth’s, in Plymouth, and was an Avon representative. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Plymouth.Â

PLYMOUTH — Frank O. Lyons, 84, of 635 Oak Hill Ave., Plymouth died at 6:40 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Miller’s Merry Manor, in Plymouth.
He is survived by his son, Dennis (Diana) Lyons of Plymouth; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth. Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home.
