PLYMOUTH — Frank Leslie Doll, 86, of Bourbon, died at home at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011.
Frank was born in Oak Park, Ill. Aug. 24, 1925. He was the son of Leslie F. and Josephine Newberg Doll. He graduated from Austin High School in 1943 and from Wright Jr. College.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 as a Tech Sergeant, (T5) with the 1346th Combat Engineers in Europe and Okinawa during WWII.
Nov. 19, 1944, in Chicago, he was married to Mary Ann Grajkowski. Mary Ann died Jan. 19, 1986.

PLYMOUTH — William J. “Bill†Collins, 50, a resident of Downtown Garden Court, died at his residence of natural causes at 12:49 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2011.
Surviving along with his mother, Luella M. (Hundt) Collins are his two daughters; Rebecca L. and Angel M. Collins both of Plymouth; brothers, Randy L. Heckaman of Plymouth, Tom C. Collins of Koontz Lake; and sister, Debra A. Geisleman of New Orleans, La.

BOURBON — Frances May Long, 72, of Bourbon, passed away at 5:32 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Jan. 2, 1939, Frances was born to George and Emma (Coonfare) Williams in Starke County. She graduated from Aubbeenaubbee High School, Leiters Ford, in 1957.
Frances married Ernie D. Long Dec. 31, 1974 in Plymouth. He preceded her in death Nov. 28, 1997.

Survivors include wife, Bert Hochstetler of Bremen; brothers, Dale L. (Dee) Hochstetler of Bremen, Howard (Leona) Hochstetler of Milford and Raymond (Sharon) Hochstetler Jr. of Franklin, N.C.; and sister, Neva J. (Arlen) Slabaugh of Plymouth.

BOURBON — Karen Faith Anthony, 48, of Bourbon died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at Hospice House of South Bend after an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas and their three children: Danielle of Winona Lake, Alisha and Brandon both at home; her mother, Janice Houchin of Martinsville; a sister, Angela (James) Gehbauer of Martinsville; and a brother, Rick (Cathie) Houchin of Franklin.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at 10 a.m. in The Country Church.

PLYMOUTH — Family members will receive friends of C. R. “Dick†and Margaret Hayden, this Sunday, Oct. 23 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with a Masonic Memorial Rite provided by members of the Plymouth Kilwinning Lodge No. 149 as a tribute to Dick. Joint services will immediately follow under the direction of family friend Rev. James Campbell.

PLYMOUTH — Milton E. Goble, 90, of 16066 Pretty Lake Road, Plymouth, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, while residing in Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Milton was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Milan, Mich. to Edward Wilson and Clara M. (McCreery) Goble. Milton served his country, with pride, in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Ruth M. Unser and Milton Goble were joined in marriage Dec. 28, 1946. Ruth passed away March 20, 1981. Milton, Oct. 28, 1982, married Gloria Shegan. Gloria survives.

She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Gail (Jim) Griffy, Plymouth, and by her sons Buryl Wayne (Kathy) Wood, Florida and Neil Allen (Kathy) Wood, South Carolina and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.

NAPPANEE —  Leona A. Truex, 76, died at 6:13 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011 at the Elkhart Hospice House. She was born Sept. 11, 1935 in Diamond, W.Va. to Emmit and Louise (Anna) Blosfield. She married Virgil Truex April 19, 1988 in Cassopolis, Mich.

BREMEN —  Ruth M. Vanskyock, 97, of Bremen died Oct. 13, 2011 in Bremen Health Care.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet Horn of Goshen, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 22, 2011 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Calling will be one hour prior to the services. Interment of ashes will follow in the Bremen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association in care of Mishler Funeral Home.
