GOSHEN — Phillip James Lindenman died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at IU Health Goshen Hospital at the age of 63.
He was born Feb. 8, 1948. He led an active life as a farmer, agriculture consultant, agriculture educator, FFA advisor and 4-H leader. He had taught agricultural sciences at Argos High School four years then worked for Farm Bureau and developed an agriculture consulting business. He later returned to teaching agriculture-related classes at NorthWood High School for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, Robert B. Wardle; daughters, Terri Lea (Clint) Fairchild of Monticello, Ky. and Paula Jo (Michael) Garybush of Audubon, Pa.; son, Robert P. Wardle of Plainwell, Mich.; one granddaughter; brother, Larry (Janice) Fisher of Plymouth; and sisters, Sheryl (John) Milner of New Carlisle and Linda (David) Nolte of Dickson, Tenn.

WALKERTON — Delores M. Yelton, 77, of Walkerton and formerly of Union Mills, passed away peacefully at 6:37 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 at IU Health LaPorte Hospital.
She was born July 31, 1934 in Walkerton to Joseph F. and Eva I. (Pearish) Cripe.
Feb. 13, 1954 in LaPorte, she married Paul E. Yelton, who survives.
Rev. Ned A. Meckstroth

PLYMOUTH — Rev. Ned A. Meckstroth, 79, passed away at his residence Friday evening of natural causes. A resident of Plymouth since 1969, Ned and his wife Jo Ann have resided at the Miller’s Assisted Living since 2006.
He was born the son of Rev. Arnold W. and Martha (Katterhenry) Meckstroth Oct. 9, 1931 in Apple Creek, Ohio.
Ned graduated from Collinwood High School in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio. He then graduated from Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Grove, Mo. and was ordained in 1959.

NORTH VERNON — James “Jim†Ronald Cook, 68, a former Plymouth resident, living in North Vernon for the past 20 years, died of natural causes in the Columbus Regional Medical Center at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011.
He is survived by a brother, Gail L. (Patty) Cook, North Vernon, and a sister, Carol Jean (Doug) Barnlund, La Marque, Texas.
Visitation is Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m.

PLYMOUTH — Brian K. Lehiy, 46, a Upas Road resident in Plymouth, passed away Wednesday afternoon at his workplace. Brian has been a Marshall County resident most of his lifetime.
Born Dec. 1, 1964 in Bremen, Brian was the son of Carl R. and Betty J. (Sickmiller) Lehiy. He was a member of the Plymouth High School class of 1983 and played varsity football.
Brian was a hard worker and for the past three years was employed at Hundt’s Auto Salvage in Plymouth.

He is survived by his father, Dale Kersey Jr. of Plymouth; sons, Brett Kersey of Plymouth, Jared Fawley of Kewanna; daughter, Kateline Kersey of Logansport; brother, Steve Kersey of Culver; and sister, Amy Cole of Plymouth.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 from 2 to 10 p.m. for friends and family at his home, 13332 5C Road.
