PLYMOUTH âÂ May V. Dixon, 97, died Aug. 8, 2011 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth of natural causes.
She is survived by a son, Lewis E. Troyer of Florida; brother, Donald E. Gross of Rochester; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth.
Funeral service is Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.

WALKERTON âÂ Raymond Ira Clevenger, 81, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth after a short illness.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; two sons, Dennis (Cindy) Clevenger of Tempe, Ariz. and Russell (Peggy) Clevenger of Elkhart; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Darrell âBuckâ Elliott

INMAN, S.C. âÂ Darrell âBuckâ Elliott died Oct. 9, 2008 in Inman, S.C. at the age of 70. He was born Aug. 10, 1938 to his loving parents, the late Alfred I. and Dorthea M. Elliott in Argos where he was raised. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines. Upon his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps in April of 1959, he began a 40-year career with R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Warsaw and retired from the Spartanburg, S.C. facility.

PLYMOUTH âÂ Stanton C. Splix, 80, a 16074 Cook Lake Trail resident, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at his home. In recent years he has suffered declining health due to congestive heart failure.
Stan was born at home April 23, 1931 in Plymouth to Donald S. and Mary C. (Richard) Splix.
He graduated from Plymouthâs Lincoln High School in the class of 1950.

SOUTH BEND âÂ Helen Mae Freeman was born at the home of her parents, Clarence and Hazel (Ritter) Hoover in Marshall County Jan. 30, 1918. She was the first of four children â Martha (Wheeler), Dwight and Dale, all deceased.
Helen graduated from Tyner High School where she met the love of her life â Roy Freeman. They were married at the Pine Creek parsonage April 16, 1938, and celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary earlier this year. They lived in St. Joseph and Marshall Counties all their lifetime.
