INDIANAPOLIS âÂ Ethel J. Warren, 87, Indianapolis, passed away at 4:15 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at the Carmel Health and Living Center, Carmel.
She was born Sept. 27, 1923 in South Bend, to the late Jack and Ethel (Howard) Palmer.

CORONA, Calif. âÂ Raymond Lee Cook, 96, formerly of Rochester, died May 9, 2011 in Corona, Calif.
He is survived by a daughter, Dianna Cook of Corona, Calif.; a son, James (Sheila Murphy) Cook of Jefferson City, Mo.; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.

He is survived by his parents, Norman and Martha (Parker) Bridegroom; sister, Kim Butts of North Liberty; and a brother, David Bridegroom of Knox.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. (EST) Monday, May 16 at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17 at the Memorial Chapel at Culver Academy, Culver.

She is survived by a daughter, Joy (Willard N.) Slabaugh, Wakarusa; son, Philip D. (Debra) Evashenko, Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.Â

WALKERTON â James T. Miller, 55, passed away at his 4B Road residence Tuesday evening, May 10, 2011 at 9 p.m.Â Â He remained at home in the care of his family and the Center for Hospice after enduring a several year illness.
Jim was born the son of Ray W. and Esther L. (Stone) Miller March 18, 1956 in Colorado Springs, Colo.Â He was raised in Plymouth and graduated from PHS in 1975 where he played football and basketball and was known as âBig Jim.â

He was born July 14, 1939 in Argos, Ind. to Lee and Lois (Seitz) Swoverland.
He married Lois (Barnett) Stull Feb. 29, 1972 in Warsaw. He was a 43-year resident of Warsaw.
Donald worked for RR Donnell & Sons as a machine operator for 38 years, retiring in 1999.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #49, Warsaw and a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1957 to 1959.

He is survived by his wife Shirley; daughters: Kim (Dave) Jensen and Michelle (Jeff) Killian, both of Nappanee and Dawn (Mike) Peterson, Bristol;Â five grandchildren; and a sister, Margie Galley, South Bend.
Visitation will take place fro 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder FuneralÂ Home, Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
