SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. â€” Frank Elliott Kleinke, 86, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Scottsdale, Ariz., of natural causes.
He was born July 20, 1924 to Thomas and Esther Kleinke, in Chicago, Ill.
He was married for 64 years to Laura June Berger Kleinke, who passed away in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Walter Kleinke, of Girard, Kan.

PLYMOUTH â€” Lifetime Plymouth resident and businessman, Ivan Jay Read, 79, passed away after a lifelong battle with chronic pulmonary disease at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Leesburg home of his daughter Beth in the company and care of his family.
The son of Ivan and Daisy M. (Stuber) Read, Jay was born March 23, 1932 at the familyâ€™s home on the Plymouth-Goshen Trail.Â
Jay graduated from Lincoln High in 1951.Â His illness prevented him from graduating the previous year so both classes included him in reunions.Â

PLYMOUTH â€” Area lifetime resident, Mary L. DeMien, 84, Plymouth, slipped into the arms of her Savior on Good Friday, April 22, 2011, at 10:15 a.m. at her home on Baker St., Plymouth. She was a longtime resident of Michigan Road north of Plymouth.
Mary was born in Plymouth Dec. 26, 1921. She was the daughter of Ray and Mildred (Martin) Heyde. She graduated from LaPaz High School with the class of 1945.
May 12, 1946, Mary and Walter L. DeMien were married.

She is survived by her children: Lucricia Price of Hobart, Barbara (Ronald) Prusinski of Plymouth, Billy Joe (Frances) McDade of Hot Springs, S.D., Tommy McDade of Indio, Calif., and Mark (Sandy) McDade of Chesterton; 13 grandchildren; 18Â great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Walls of Colon, Mich.Â Â

Raymond E. Beck, 90, a Plymouth resident since 1994, coming from LaPorte, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Carriage Way residence he made with his son and family.
The son of Fred S. and Lela Smith Beck, Ray was born in Dayville, Oregon Feb. 26, 1921. He later moved with his family to Chicago suburb of Harvey, Ill.

He is survived by daughters, Voncelle (Roger) Burchell of Moulton, Ala. and Rebecca (James) Sliter of Walkerton; sons, David (Brenda) Shadrix of Valparaiso and Gerald (Rudy) Shadrix of Knox; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters: Gertrude Rameriez of Portage, Betty Duke of Alabama, Bobbie Sherer of Portage and Marie Keen of Georgia; and brothers, B.M. Shadrix of Florida and France Shadrix of Georgia.

PLYMOUTH â€” Clara Berneice Baker, 94, a lifetime Plymouth resident, died at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
The daughter of Grover and May Coyle Rensberger, she was born August 20, 1916 in Plymouth.Â She attended Linkville School.
Clara was first married to Carroll Baker who preceded her in death Feb. 8, 1957. She then married Cleo Vance Hershberger who preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1979, and was later married to Dale Baker who preceded her in death Feb. 24, 2000.

NORTH LIBERTY â€” Tyler Brant Wiegand, 17, of North Liberty, Ind., passed away Saturday morning, April 16, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born May 4, 1993 in South Bend, Ind., to Jason E. and Carla C. (Nickles) Wiegand.
Tyler is survived by his parents; sister, Alyssa Wiegand of the University of Indianapolis; brother, Phillip Wiegand of North Liberty; grandfather, Nelson E. Nickles of Walkerton, Ind.; and grandmother, June M. Wiegand of Walkerton.
