DONALDSON — Sister Jeanette Cyr, PHJC, 96 years old, died of natural causes at 12:15 p.m. in the Catherine Kasper Life Center Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010.
Sister Jeanette was born, the daughter of Stephen and Milanese Patnaude Cyr, in Fowler, Ind. June 21, 1914. She entered the Poor Hand Maids Convent Dec. 7, 1930 and professed her vows June 25, 1933.
She was educated and trained in home nursing and social services. Her ministry in life was as a kindergarten teacher, an office manager and bookkeeper and home nursing with a ministry to the elderly.

PLYMOUTH — Robert A. “Bob” Richard, 74, died at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 in the Life Care Center at Rochester, due to natural causes. It was fitting that he should receive his Heavenly Reward on the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception in honor of Christ’s mother Mary, as he always held great devotion to her.

LEESBURG — Chester L. Albert, 83, of Leesburg, died Dec. 6, 2010 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care.
He is survived by his wife Jean; a son Rick (Libby) Albert of Warsaw; daughters, Paula (Roger) Miller of North Webster and Lorraine (John Jr.) Anglin, of Warsaw; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Louis Albert and Larry Albert, both of LaPaz; and a sister Luella Staner of Redlion, Pa.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9 at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford.

FORT WAYNE — David Fussey, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at home.
He was born in the small village of Harding Stone on the outskirts of Northampton, England, and was formerly of Cinnaminson, N.J. and Southern California. He was an aerospace engineer by profession. He liked woodworking and his garden.
He was a chorister of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic for many years. He was also a veteran of the Royal Air Force.

KNOX — Patsy J. Singleton, 70, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Hobart. 
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Singleton, of Florida, and Bill (Tina) Singleton, Jeff (Sandy) Singleton and Sam (Crystal) Singleton, all of Knox; daughters, Janet (Terry) McIntire and Patty (Tony) Rose, all of Knox; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Vera (Ray) Singleton of Grovertown and Jean (Dave) Thompson of Knox.

CULVER — Mary Powers, 98, of Culver, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Dec. 2, 2010 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver.
Mary was born March 31, 1912 in Brook, Ind. She was one of seven children born to Cortland V. and Ruby T. (Bruce) McKee.  After graduating high school, Mary fell in love and married Ted Powers. During their 33 years of marriage, Mary and Ted were blessed with four children. Together they owned and operated Culver Produce.

STEELEVILLE, Ill. — Mildred C. Prange, 92, of Steeleville, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at St. Ann's Healthcare Center in Chester, Ill.
She was born Dec. 15, 1917 in Sparta, Ill. the daughter of Herman Junge and Louise (Buescher) Junge.
Mildred married Arthur V. Hagen Feb. 7, 1937; he passed away May 16, 1973. Mildred later married Elmer Prange Feb. 13, 1982 and he passed away Dec. 14, 2005.

DONALDSON — Sister Loretta Volk, 88, died of natural causes in the Catherine Kasper Life Center at 8:05 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010.
Sister Loretta was born in Wendelin, Ill., Dec. 31, 1922. She was the daughter of Anton C. and Catherine Kuenstlor Volk.
Sept. 8, 1944, she entered the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Convent and professed her vows June 25, 1947. Prior to entering the convent, she stayed home to help her mother with the six children in her family.

 BOURBON — Lisa Joanelle (Harman) Koontz, 54, Center Street, Bourbon, died Saturday Dec. 4, 2010 of natural causes at her residence.
She was born May 2, 1956 in Rochester, to Thomas W. and Joan Lynn “Jody” Cullum Harman.
She was part owner in the family printing business Harmony Marketing Group, Bourbon.
She was a 1974 graduate of Mentone High School, Lisa loved cooking and helping cater meals. She also had a great love of animals. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 424 in Bourbon.
