KNOX — Rachel M. Rupert, 46, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2010 in Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox. 
She is survived by a daughter, Betty (James) Toney of Knox; son, John (Charlotte) Rupert of Knox; five grandchildren; her mother, Betty Rupert of Winamac; sisters: Mary Fletcher of Winamac, Kathy Hurt and Rita Rupert, both of Van Wert, Ohio, Julie Rupert of Houston, Texas, and Robin Boulie of Mo.; and brothers, J. Rupert of Wheatfield and Thomas Rupert of Van Wert, Ohio.

NORTH LIBERTY — Dorothy E. Reed, 102, died Sept. 11, 2010 in Bremen Health Care Center. 
She is survived by a son, Richard Reed of St. James City, Fla, and a sister, Marguerite McCutheon of Phoenix, Ariz.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. 
Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

KOONTZ LAKE — Crew Krulik, 33, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 in Dickson, Tenn., due to a pedestrian/automobile accident.
He is survived by his mother, Pamela of Walkerton; sisters, Carrie (Todd) Botset of Koontz Lake and Cammie Krulik of South Bend; brothers: Chris (Marla) Krulik of Knox, Curtiss (Lisa) Krulik of Bremen, and Cory Krulik and Casey Krulik, both of Walkerton; grandmother, Patricia Krulik of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

PLYMOUTH — Louise Holm, 81, of Plymouth, died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 in her home.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16 at Calvary Lutheran Church.
Burial will follow at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.

He is survived by his mother, Robin Harris of Koontz Lake; father, Jim (Karen) Harris of Elkhart; a sister, Amanda Harris of Koontz Lake; stepsister, Amber O'Dell of Elkhart; stepbrothers, Stephen Sharp of Elkhart and Kameron Green of Bristol; grandparents, Terry and Nancy Harris of Koontz Lake, Bob and June Hamman of Warsaw and Gary and Georgia Allen of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; and great-grandparents, Jim and Bettie Harris of Koontz Lake.

ROCHESTER —  Floanna R. Swope, 78, of Rochester, died at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at Hickory Creek of Rochester.
She is survived by a daughter, Frankie (Mel) Swango of Rochester; sons, Stephen Swope of Rochester and Robert (Lisa) Swope of Rochester; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St. Rochester.

CULVER — Helen J. Koebke, 107, of Noblesville, formerly of Culver, died Sept. 7, 2010 at Harbour Manor Health and Living, Noblesville.
She is survived by daughters: Joan (Harvey) Campbell of Carmel, Marcella Lemler of Bradenton, Fla., and Irene (Don) Ansel of Zionsville; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will take place at 3:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13 at Culver Masonic Cemetery.

TIPPECANOE — After a courageous eight-month battle with pancreatic cancer, Wayne Kelsey Bessinger passed away peacefully at his home in the loving care of his family Sept. 8, 2010.
Wayne Kelsey was born Aug. 14, 1931 in the family home to Rollie and Lydia (Eaglebarger) Bessinger. He was the youngest of seven children: the twins, Fawn and Lavon, Evelyn, Genevieve, Roy and Max. He attended Bourbon schools and graduated in 1949. He and his father Rollie farmed together and had a dairy herd.
