BREMEN â Miriam Lynn Mishler, 79, of Bremen, passed away Sept. 28, 2010 in her residence.
She was born July 14, 1931 in Bremen, to Donald and Garnette L. Skinner. She married Russell âDeanâ Mishler in February of 1957; he preceded her in death March of 1972.

PLYMOUTH â Russell Earl Bradley, 66, 705 Mansfield, Plymouth, died at 12:42 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 5, 1943 in Plymouth to Wilbur and Susie Bradley and lived for more than 36 years in Plymouth, coming from Galien, Mich.
He married Kolleen G. Bradley in 1974 in Plymouth. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #385 LaPaz. He loved camping, country music, spending time with family, his grandchildren and friends. He was a âpeople person.â

WALKERTON â Jim Blevins, 62, of Walkerton, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010.
He is survived by his mother, Louise Ellison of Hammond; a brother, William (Susan) Blevins of Stevenson, Ala.; a sister, Cathy Comforti of Hammond; a son, Scott Lindsey of Missouri; daughters, Lori (Mark) Landers of Decatur, Ala. and Mary (Tom) OâConnor of Koontz Lake; and four grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (EDT) Thursday, Sept. 30 in the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, 408 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton.

PLYMOUTH â Donald E. Jernstrom, 80, of 12661 Plymouth-Goshen Trail, Plymouth, passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at 5:31 p.m. at the Elkhart Hospice House, Elkhart.
Donald was born Dec. 6, 1929, in South Bend, to Conrad and Helga (Anderson) Jernstrom. He married Bonnie VanBlaricom Sept. 26, 1968. Don owned Don's Cafeteria, in Plymouth, for several years. He drove a truck for Central Transfer, in Plymouth. He also was a Teamster driver for Redi Froz, in South Bend, retiring in 1985. He served in the Naval Reserve out of Great Lakes, Ill.

BOURBON â Eldon B. Silveus, of 13860 Elm Road, Bourbon, passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2010 at 10:05 p.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, at the age of 86.
He was born July 2, 1924 in Milford, to Amos Silveus and Mary Grace (Banks) Silveus Wallace. June 25, 1947 he was married to Mary E. Clark, who survives.
Eldon was a 1943 graduate of Bourbon High School, Bourbon. He then served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater and the Battle of the Bulge, and was honorably discharged in 1946.

She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (David) Arndt of Koontz Lake; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Hay of Galva, Ill.Â
A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
Cremation has taken place.Â

PLYMOUTH â Geraldine M. âGerryâ Hoeffler, 83, 16492 Pretty View Drive, Plymouth, passed away Wednesday afternoon in the Our Lady of Peace Hospital, Mishawaka.Â
Her death came unexpected to her family who has long witnessed her battle of multiple illnesses with courage and dignity while never uttering a word of complaint.
