â€˘ Bourbon American Legion Post 424 will host a children's halloween party Saturday, Oct. 29 from 12 to 3 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for best costume. Lots of games will be played and prizes handed out. Food and fountain drinks will be provided. The event is open to the public, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

WALKERTON â€” If their website is any indication, the proprietors of The Walk of Nightmares trail in Walkerton have more than a few scary moments planned for this Halloween weekend. And the best part? It's free.
"There's not a lot of free attractions in the area," said Jessica Beam, part of the Walk of Nightmares team. "(The staff) are all dedicated. Their sole purpose is to try to scare somebody, and you can guarantee that will happen. There's going to be something in there that will scare almost anybody."
PLYMOUTH â€” DC Tech will be testing the newly installed equipment over the next two weeks. After the system is activated, visitors to the downtown area will be able to enjoy free wireless Internet service (two hours in a 24-hour period).

PLYMOUTH â€” Two vehicles collided at S.R. 17 and Quince Road today just before 3 p.m. Local law enforcement responded to the scene and assisted three victims into ambulances. The incident is being investigated by the Indiana State Police.
The Bremen Kiwanis Clubs invite children from birth to fifth grade to attend the annual Halloween Party in the K-8 gymnasium. Carnival-style games will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by costume judging at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be available in the K-8 cafeteria, across the hall.
The Culver community is once again rallying around one of its own, and once again it's thanks in part to one of the community's young people. This time, however, the student in question -- 6th grader Reilly Reinhold of Culver -- has a special connection to her project: she's raising money for the ALS Association (alsa.org), to fight the disease which has rapidly altered the life of her father, Culver Community High School graduate Rob Reinhold.
PLYMOUTH â€“ A garage at 13129 Nutmeg Ridge Drive, Plymouth was damaged after a driver struck the structure while having a seizure.
The Marshall County Police Department reported that Holly L. Buckingham, 25, of Argos apparently had a seizure while attempting to back out of a driveway across the street. The vehicle then crossed the road and struck the attached garage, damaging the door and two vehicles parked inside the garage.
Neither Buckingham nor her three small children, who were passengers in the vehicle, were injured. The residents were not home at the time of the collision.
PLYMOUTH â€“ A Tennessee woman has been arrested for resisting law enforcement, operating while intoxicated, and operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 percent or more after wrecking while trying to flea from authorities Friday night.
