"Doc" Bowen day declared

BREMEN — The Bremen Town Council has set aside a day later this month to honor the late Otis R. Bowen, a long-time Bremen resident, doctor and former Governor of Indiana, among other accomplishments.

Humane Society Fundraiser is today

February 12, 2014

PLYMOUTH — A baked potato and salad lunch is today to benefit the Marshall County Humane Society. The luncheon is 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Webster Center. Tickets are $8 at the door.

Plymouth High School students staging play

February 12, 2014

PLYMOUTH — A student written play, "Witness" will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Plymouth High School auditorium.

Snowmobile, foot chase ends in arrest

PLYMOUTH — Marshall County Police arrested a Plymouth man after he fled from a traffic stop on a snowmobile. In addition to outstanding warrants, the man now faces additional charges.

Plymouth police chief opens bids for three new vehicles

PLYMOUTH — Bids were opened Monday evening for three new vehicles for the City Police. The bids will be reviewed by Chief David Bacon and presented to the City Council.

Argos names new utilities supervisor

ARGOs - The Argos Town Council has named a new supervisor for the utilities department.

The council also voted to support Project Lead the Way, a regional program to better prepare students for careers by developing curriculum and providing teacher training in all Marshall County Schools.

Chargers for Change

PLYMOUTH — The annual Chargers for Change basketball game, which raises money for Marshall County's own Ounce Of Prevention, was held Saturday afternoon at the Fitness Forum gym at Lifeplex.

Plymouth schools close today

PLYMOUTH — Superintendent Dan Tyree just advised parents that Plymouth Schools will close today for "various reasons related to the cold."

Bremen is also closed today.

Argos, Culver, John Glenn, LaVille and Triton have all posted a two-hour delay.
