Plymouth Community Schools have cancelled classes for November 27th.
MARSHALL COUNTY â€” The county remains under a lake effect snow advisory until later this evening, according to the National Weather Service. As much as five inches of snow may accumulate in this weather event.

ARGOS â€” Fire departments are on scene of a house fire in the 100 block of South Maple Street. All occupants of the home evacuated safely.

CULVER â€” The Culver Community School board voted unanimously at its Nov. 25 meeting to hire Dr. Vicki McGuire as its new superintendent
of schools, replacing outgoing superintendent Brad Schuldt, who will retire as of Jan. 1.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â The Thanksgiving holiday will move the Plymouth trash pick-up schedule back one day for Thursday's trash and recycle pick-up. Allied Waste is closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and will pick up trash and recycling in Plymouth on Friday, Nov. 29. Please remember that your trash and recycling are to be placed at the curb for pick-up at 6 a.m.

PLYMOUTH â€” Daphne's Dolls is hosting the Purdue University marching band solo twirlers and All-American twirling team for a twirling clinic. The clinic will be at Lincoln Jr. High from 1-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24. Twirlers from around the area will be attending the clinic. The performance should happen around 3:30 p.m. so come early and watch the amazing twirling. If you have a twirler who would like to attend registration forms for the clinic are available at Merle Norman in Plymouth.
