BREMEN — Bremen students are bringing the tropics home with "South Pacific," the school's spring musical.
"It's been smooth sailing, no pun intended," said director Kathy Overmyer of the show. "We have a pretty well-balanced group this year, meaning both guys and gals. That lends itself to a strong chorus. I thought this (show) would be something the kids would enjoy."
PLYMOUTH — Hacienda Mexican Restaurants will open its 13th location in Plymouth at the end of May.
The restaurant will be housed in the former Beef O'Brady's off of U.S. 30.
"The restaurant will be completely redecorated to create the ambiance Hacienda guests have come to love," said Jeff Leslie, Hacienda's vice president of sales and marketing. "We will seat 135 (people), including an outdoor margarita garden."
Leslie noted that 100 employees will be hired. Applications are now being accepted online at www.haciendafiesta.com.
"Interviews will begin April 8," said Leslie.
