March 14, 2013

Claims of a local facility housing sex offenders with other patients are being levied and a protest is planned for tonight.
Plymouth Police were informed that a group would be picketing Michiana Behavioral Health on Oak Road in Plymouth tonight from 5 to 7 p.m.
A former nurse at the facility, who asked to be unidentified as to avoid blow back from being a "whistleblower", said the facility went against its own stated policy when it housed known sex offenders with other patients.
The nurse claims the move was one to save money and that documentation is available to prove those claims.

Oliver Ford unveils the Interceptor

March 14, 2013

PLYMOUTH - Oliver Ford in Plymouth invited local state, county and city law enforcement officers out to a special event Tuesday.
Oliver unveiled the new Ford Interceptor vehicles for area police. The vehicle is the very first all wheel drive utility vehicle by any auto manufacturer that meets all law enforcement specifications.
“Ford didn’t design this the way a car is normally designed,” said Steve Keiser of Oliver. “Law enforcement officers designed this vehicle. They spent a lot of time with people who drive them everyday and made it the way they wanted it.”
