PLYMOUTH â The Marshall County Health Department announced another change to immunization eligibility requirements Tuesday afternoon.
Under the new Indiana state guidelines effective Feb. 1, only those without medical insurance may be vaccinated at their local health department. Insured individuals (including children) must receive vaccinations from their normal physician.
These changes were originally slated to take place last summer, but were postponed until now.

ST. LOUIS â Plymouth grad Bill Finkbinerâs road from PHS to feature film has been a long and eventful one â and one he almost didnât take.
âFor me it all started in (teacher) Kathy Richterâs speech class,â said Bill from his home in St. Louis. âWe had done a couple of speeches for class and she told me I should join the speech team. I had never really considered that and I told her to give me three reasons why I should. She said, âyouâre good, youâll win and... youâll win.ââ

CULVER â Culverâs Rob Reinhold may have summed up the enormity of Saturdayâs benefit for his family in describing the event: âOverwhelming.â
Family members, friends, and attendees in general would concur, though the question lingers as to what was more overwhelming: the incredible community turnout or the amount of money raised. In both cases, the numbers are â well, overwhelming.

PLYMOUTH â A usually very "played in" kid's room, sparkling with freshly cleaned floors and walls. Tidied-up animal cages. Calm dogs, worn out from exercise. A group of fifth graders learning about decimals in a new way.
These were some of the small, yet meaningful contributions that Plymouth Key Club students made to the community Monday as they did service tasks in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. About 60 students worked at the Marshall County Humane Society, the Boys and Girls Club, and Riverside Intermediate School.

PLYMOUTH â After a whirlwind major U.S. summer tour, a hit new album and preparing to head out on an east coast tour of their own, Plymouthâs Nick and Will Kubely and the band Passafire have even more good news.
The group has been invited to play with the band 311 in May on their special fan cruise of the Carribean.

Argos Community Schools Board of School Trustees will meet in executive session at 6:45 p.m. at the school administration building. A regular meeting will immediately follow the executive session, with a board of finance committee meeting to follow the regular meeting.

PLYMOUTH â After serving on the Marshall County Election Board since the early 1990s, Steve Harper is stepping down.
Harper announced his resignation at the Election Board meeting Thursday, and filed for a seat on the County Council Wednesday, indicating he felt his position on the board could be viewed as a conflict.
Harper said he had spoken with Marshall County Republican Chair David Holmes concerning the matter prior to submitting a resignation.
According to Harper, the resignation became effective at the end of the Election Board meeting Jan. 12.
January 15th
NORTH JUDSON â Family, friends and members of the community packed inside Braman & Bailey Funeral Home in North Judson Sunday, Jan. 15 to celebrate the life of Spc. Robert âBobbyâ Tauteris Jr. and to say their final goodbyes.
Bobby lost his life Jan. 6 in Kandahar Afghanistan when the vehicle he was traveling in hit a roadside bomb. Three other soldiers lost their lives in the blast and one was seriously injured.
Bobby grew up in North Judson and was a 1986 graduate of North Judson High School.
