PLYMOUTH — Running for political office can be a long lonely road but Senate hopeful Joe Donnelly has found a traveling friend for the past few days in former Indiana Senator and Governor Evan Bayh.
Friends for the past 26 years - the two have embarked on a two day, five community trip down main street Indiana. The tour began with stops in Indianapolis, Speedway and Terre Haute yesterday and between trips to Fort Wayne and East Chicago the pair stopped for lunch in Plymouth at Opie's Deli.
PLYMOUTH — More than 500 local children are ready for unlimited fun Labor Day weekend, as they have in their possession the much-desired Mega Pass.
This pass, sold by the Marshall County Blueberry Festival office, is an all-you-can-ride ticket to every attraction offered by All Star Amusement, the festival’s contracted carnival. Although sales of the pass generally increase around this time of year due to a reduced early bird price, festival board member Larry Faulstich reported at a board meeting Monday that the office has sold 100 fewer passes than the same time last year.
PLYMOUTH — For the fifth year, motorcycle riders from several Indiana counties will be riding together to raise funds for the many programs of the Plymouth FOP Lodge 195. Despite a downpour of rain last year, 63 undaunted riders raised some $6,000-$7,000.
