PLYMOUTH — The annual motorcycle ride supporting the Heminger House will take place Saturday. This is the first year that the event is being organized completely by Heminger House staff and volunteers — previously, the ride was supported in part by United Way. The ride has grown in participants significantly each year, and director of Heminger House Annie Wojcik said they hope to sign up about 150 people this year.
“The money raised will be used for operating expenses,” explained Wojcik. “We also need funds to help women rent u-hauls when they move (out of the shelter).”
