Smoking box lands Plymouth man in jail on meth charge

December 10, 2012

PLYMOUTH — Instead of a smoking gun, it was a smoking box that landed a Plymouth man in Marshall County Jail Saturday.
Around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Plymouth Police responded to a call that a man had dumped a smoking box into a dumpster in the 300 block of Kingston Avenue.
When police arrived, they identified the items in the box as what would comprise a meth lab.
Police searched the nearby area and located James Bailey, 23, Plymouth.
Police then searched Bailey’s apartment in the 1000 block of Lincolnway East.
