Marshall County AARP members enjoy annual picnic

PLYMOUTH — Only a few prizes were left on the table, but the players still in the running for a Bingo were not about to give up.
In an impressive display of intense concentration, Jean Rechtenbaugh secured the last win of the round for her friend, Margaret Jurkiewicz.
Now that the game was over, the group of Marshall County AARP members was ready to enjoy their annual picnic. The event was held Thursday at the Marshall County Council on Aging Life Enrichment Center, on Harrison Street.

Old Timers out to prove they still have it

PLYMOUTH — Celebrating the Plymouth community and the Plymouth schools will take an athletic turn during Alumni Week July 31 through Aug. 5.
Plymouth grads will lace it up again in several alumni games during the week, showing off the skills they learned as part of the Plymouth Athletics Department.

Council Fire programs at Culver's Woodcraft Camp
each summer Saturday night.
"60 summers ago," the nostalgia-inducing voice might intone, "as the sun rose high in the Maxinkuckee sky, Chief Zimmerman made his first foray into Culver."
