Indiana State Police hold memorial for fallen troops

May 12, 2011

BREMEN — A bright sun and humid temperature created a positive mood for an otherwise somber event Wednesday morning. Indiana State troopers and their friends and family gathered to honor and remember officers who have died in the line of service. Lieutenant James E. Strong and Captain Andy Coffee worked together to read off the list of the 45 fallen officers, beginning with those who died in the 1930s and ending with the most recent loss in 2008.
