Weil finishes in top 5

Garrett Weil of LaPaz, a student at LaVille Elementary School, finished fifth in the feature event of Senior Honda Quarter Midgets at the Ft. Wayne Rumble over the New Year holiday. Weil is the son of Brian and Annette Weil.

County officials look ahead to coming year

PLYMOUTH — While Marshall County government faces challenges in the coming year, local officials feel confident of the county’s abilities to meet them. The economy remains the topic on everybody’s mind and the effect of decreasing tax revenue on county services.

Judge administers oaths of office

PLYMOUTH — Marshall County Circuit Court Judge Curt Palmer gave the oath of office to nearly two dozen newly elected officials late Friday morning.
Those in attendance were elected to office in the November General Election.

Counterfeit money passed in Plymouth

January 3, 2011

PLYMOUTH — At least two “very high quality” counterfeit $100s were passed at Plymouth businesses last week.
Plymouth Police say the fakes were printed on $5 bills which had been altered through “bleaching” them.
