ARGOS â€”Â Kayla Prochno and Libby Moyer supplied a one-two punch, and Argos rallied from a 29-28 deficit in the fourth quarter to win its Winter Classic opener against West Central 44-38 at home at Phil Weybright Gymnasium Tuesday.
The Lady Dragons (8-3) went 8 of 12 from the line to outscore West Central (6-4) 16-9 in the decisive final frame for their second straight win. Argos advances to play Rochester, which beat Kankakee Valley 54-49 Tuesday, in the championship game of the Winter Classic in the auxiliary gym at West Central Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â E. Faye Stone, 80, a former resident of Huntsville, Ala., who has lived in Plymouth with her daughter for the last two years, passed away at 7:13 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, in the Hospice House at Roseland, following a sudden illness.
The daughter of Lem B. and Lillie M. (Peoples) Seymour, Faye was born March 4, 1931 in Huntsville, Ala.
Faye and Frank W. Stone, Jr. were married in Huntsville, Ala. in 1946. Frank preceded her in death in 1998.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â At the age of 96, Dorothy Newberg Reaker, of Plymouth, went to be with her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Dec. 23, 2011.
Dorothy was born to Prescott and Henrietta (Ramp) Piper March 12, 1915, in Wisconsin. She spent her childhood in the Chicago area, where she attended Lutheran schools. Her family relocated to Polk Township, where she attended Tyner School, graduating as class valedictorian.

KNOX â€” Ronda J. Wagner, 57, of Knox passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born on June 3, 1954 in Richmond, she was the daughter of Owen and Nellie (Chamberlain) Ramsey.Â On October 13, 1990 she married Rick Wagner, he survives.
She was a Haggerstown High School graduate and was a 1988 Ivy Tech college graduate.
Ronda was a certified QMA.Â She was a member of Kewanna Church of Christ and she enjoyed reading, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
