PLYMOUTH â Richard W. âDickâ Bottorff, 94, a resident of 6B Road in Plymouth, passed away at his home Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. of natural causes. Dick was a lifetime Tyner area resident who was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and quiet determination.
Dick was born the son of Floyd R. and Wilda (Sheaks) Bottorff Aug. 22, 1917 in Tyner. He was raised with his two brothers and graduated with the Tyner class of 1935.
Caleb and Angi Polando, of Plymouth, married 10 years
PLYMOUTH â Before dating websites like Match.com and Eharmony became popular, meeting people online was free â and that's how Caleb and Angi Polando met.
"It started with me and my friends trying to see how many girls we could meet (online)," said Caleb. "Angi was the one I talked to most."

PLYMOUTH â Fernbaugh's Diamonds and Fine Jewelry, in Plymouth, held a "Cutest Couple" contest for Valentine's Day this year. Couples were given the opportunity to post their photos on Fernbaugh's Facebook page and try to get the most "likes" from their friends and family members.

KENTON, Ohio âÂ Martha B. âBerniceâ Litton, 93, of Kenton, Ohio, formerly of Argos, died at 11 a.m., Feb. 12, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, in Kenton, Ohio.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon (Gene) Good of Kenton, Ohio; two sons, David (Phyllis) Shivers of Argos and Mike (Judy) Shivers of Findlay, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous stepgrand and great-grandchildren.

Clyde was born the son of Mose and Mildred (Barry) Leary March 8, 1930 in Rockford, Ill.Â

PLYMOUTH â The Plymouth-based MARCO Bass Masters recently recognized the accomplishments of the 2011 members at the annual awards banquet held at the Brass Rail Bar and Grill.
Plymouth resident Rick Hite claimed his third straight Angler of the Year award after dominating the 2011 season by accumulating 55.61 points with three victories, two seconds and three thirds in eight events.
Shawn Mark of Bourbon was the runner up with 42.71 points. He had two wins and a second place. Brian McNeal of Fort Wayne had 40.86 points to finish third with one win, a second and a third.
The Triton freshman boys basketball team won the Northern State Conference Tournament Feb. 4, beating New Prairie, Bremen and Jimtown at the tourney.
