Marshall County Jail Bookings for August 5

•James Dale Hughes, 40 of Plymouth was arrested by Plymouth Police at 9:50 a.m. on Aug. 2 for probation violation.
•Erin Amanda Hedger, 27 of Plymouth was arrested by Marshall County Sheriff's Department at 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 for civil contempt.
•Joshua Michael Bickel, 24 of Syracuse was arrested by Bremen Police at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 for invasion of privacy, violates no contact with prior.
•Jeffrey Levi Knoebel, 21 of Plymouth was arrested by Plymouth Police at 6:35 p.m. on Aug. 2 for false informing hindering law enforcement, possession of chemical reagents, precursors.

Triton’s Carpenter ties for 25th at Indianapolis Amateur
Triton grad and Ball State recruit Quentyn Carpenter finished in a tie for 25th at the Indiana Golf Foundation’s Indianapolis Amateur competition over the weekend.
Carpenter followed up a round of 75 Friday at Coffin Club with a 79 Saturday to finish at 10-over 154 in a three-way tie for 25th in a field of more than 70 golfers.
The winner, Justin Wenger of Otter Creek Golf Club, fired an impressive 10-under-par 134 at the Par 72 course.

PLYMOUTH — Sara D. Hochstetler, 79, died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.
She is survived by her four sons: Glen Hochstetler of Nappanee, Raymond Hochstetler of Rochester, Bruce Hochstetler of Plymouth, and David Hochstetler of Iowa; and two grandchildren.
There are no services planned at this time.

PLYMOUTH — Frank J. “Pops” Holloway, 99, passed away of natural causes in the Catherine Kasper Life Center, at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
He was born on a farm in Mentone, on Nov. 21, 1913, the son of Glen and Neva Pearl (Rynearson) Holloway. When his mother died, he was raised by his grandparents in Burkett and attended Beaver Dam High School.

WALKERTON — Nancy L. Landesman, 74, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at 6:50 a.m. in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
She is survived by her husband, LeVoy Landesman; one daughter, Lynne (Gary) LaFollette of Warsaw; one son, Patrick (Pamela) Landesman of Walkerton; four grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce (Hatcher) Gibson of Elkhart and Delores Farrar of Walkerton.

She is survived by her husband, LeRoy; three daughters, Edie (Luke) Workman of Lakeville, Karen (Doug) Warren of Bourbon, and Patty (Greg Miller) Anderson of Shipshewana; a son, Michael (Jennifer) Anderson of Medina, Ohio; four siblings, Marilyn (Russ) Eyres, Mickey (Diana) Savage, Judy (Bobo) Garcia, and Don (Judy) Jones, all of California; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
