PLYMOUTH â€”Â Ronald Lee Stahl, 67, of Plymouth passed away Dec. 12, 2013 at 6:27 p.m. at his residence. He had been in declining health for several months.
He was born July 19, 1946 in Hammond to Earl Edward Stahl and Pansy Violet (Sellers) Stahl. He has lived in the Plymouth area for the last 20 years, coming from Hammond.
He was married to Barbara Wilkes for 25 years, they later divorced. His companion Sandy Thomas and he had spent the last 15 years together.
He worked at Gary Works, steel mill in Gary.
James E. Ambrose

PLYMOUTH â€” James E. Ambrose, 77, a Plymouth resident for several years, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, in Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
The son of Gus and Lucille Ambrose, James was born Aug. 17, 1936 in Ober. He was a member of the 1955 graduating class of Knox High School.
On July 19, 1958, James and Judith A. Libby were married in LaPorte.
James had worked as a line supervisor for Unimag, making magnets until his retirement.

PLYMOUTH â€” In a game of runs, Glennâ€™s Lady Falcons jumped to a lead and held off Plymouthâ€™s Lady Pilgrims for a win at Plymouth on Tuesday night, 42-31.
Glenn stayed unbeaten at 7-0 with the win and executed its game plan, keeping ahead of the Lady Pilgrims (6-2) with runs of 14-0 in the first half and a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter after Plymouth was able to pull back within a point in the late parts of that stanza.

Argos wins 4th straight
The Lady Dragons had three players in double figures, led by Courtney Dunlapâ€™s 21 points, and Argos beat Culver Girls Academy 69-59 in a girls basketball game at Fleet Gymnasium Tuesday.
Libby Moyer finished with 15, and Val Rospopo scored 12 as Argos moved to 5-3 on the season with its fourth straight win.
CGA was led offensively by Marie Steinerâ€™s 19 points followed by Tori Styersâ€™ 15 and Victoria Christliebâ€™s 12 as the Lady Eagles dropped their second straight.
