Everett L. Bowell

ARGOS- Everett L. Bowell, 95, and a lifetime Argos resident,
passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013.
Born in Argos in Walnut Township on July 28, 1918, Everett
was the son of Floyd D. and Ida Bell (Dawson) Bowell.
He attended Argos High School. In Argos in a Christian
church, Everett married Opal B. Fear on Feb. 19, 1938.
On Nov. 24, 1943 Everett joined the United States Army,
serving in Infantry during World War II. He was Honorable
Discharged on Feb. 28, 1946.

PLYMOUTH - Louis E. â€śLouâ€ť Wenino, 82, a resident
of Pretty Lake, Plymouth,
passed away Monday evening.
A Plymouth resident most
of his lifetime, Lou was born
in Milwaukee, Wis. on Sept.
18, 1931, the son of Harry
E. and Marie E. (Dehner)
Wenino. He was a 1951 graduate
of Plymouth Lincoln High
School. Lou served in the U.S.
Army and National Guard.
On Feb. 15, 1953 he married
Betty J. Klein. They were married
in the First United Church of Christ and have remained
members for the past 60 years.
William Henry Johnson
Mr William Henry Johnson, 80, of Rochester passed away, Saturday, Dec. 29th, 2012 at Life Care Center of Rochester.
is survived by his wife Sharon Hopkins Johnson; a daughter, Misty Johnson; 2 grandchildren, and a sister, Evelyn of Wis.
raveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at Citizens Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Fulton County Honor Guard and the US Army Honor Guard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Good Family Funeral Home.

Betty J. Stull, 83, 3525 Quince Road, Walkerton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at 4:30 a.m., at Elkhart Hospice House, in Elkhart.
â€˘Eric Richard Miller, 41 of Plymouth was arrested by Marshall County Sheriff's Department at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 30 for possession of marijuana.
â€˘Jennifer Kay Yeo, 41 of Bourbon was arrested by Bourbon Police at 10:40 a.m. Sept. 30 for theft.
â€˘Aaron Robert Leiter, 35 of Niles, MI was arrested by Plymouth Police at 11:04 a.m. on Sept. 30 for operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.
â€˘Christopher Robert Altman, 42 of Bremen was arrested by Marshall County Sheriff's Department at 1:50 p.m. on Sept. 30 for failure to appear.
Knoxâ€™s Davey Johnston won the Northern State Conference 1 singles championship at Bremen Saturday, capping off an undefeated career in conference matches.
Argos girls soccer player Courtney Dunlap scored back to back goals in the 45th and 48th minutes to snap a 1-1 tie with Culver Community and help lift the Lady Dragons to a 6-1 victory Saturday.
BREMEN â€”Â Knoxâ€™s boys tennis team saved the best for last.
With the Redskins scheduled to leave the Northern State Conference as early as next year, the squad entered Saturdayâ€™s final round of NSC Tournament matches hoping to capture a program-first conference title. Knox won championships in two of three singles finals appearances, and the Redskins clinched the NSC title outright over second-place Triton Saturday at DeSantis Courts in Bremen.
GOSHEN â€” Warsaw won all five of its matches Saturday at Goshen to earn the Tigers the Northern Lakes Conference Boys Tennis title.
Plymouth entered the NLC Tournament last Wednesday in a three-way tie with Warsaw and Concord after each team suffered just one during round robin play. But the Pilgrims were only able to win two of their matches at Saturdayâ€™s final round to finish in second overall behind Warsaw.
â€śWe went in the day tied with them as far as points and possibilities, and Warsaw won all five matches, and we were only able to win two,â€ť said Plymouth head coach Michael Delp.
â€˘Jeremy Daryl Stump, 27 of Nappanee was arrested by Marshall County Sheriff's Department at 7 p.m. on Sept. 27 for failure to appear.
â€˘David Wayne England, 48 of Plymouth was arrested by Plymouth Police at 7:10 p.m. on Sept. 27 for battery resulting in bodily injury to law enforcement, resisting law enforcement with force, disorderly conduct, harassment.
â€˘Landon Charles Reser, 32 of Elkhart was arrested by Bourbon Police at 7:20 a.m. on Sept. 27 for public intoxication.
