Bass Lake: Dorothy (White) Bryant of Bass Lake, passed away Nov. 21, 2013 after a long illness.
She was bom July 24, 1924 to Fred and Mary White of Bass Lake and graduated from Knox High School In 1942.
On Nov. 6, 1943 she married her high school sweetheart Charles N, Bryant of Knox. They were married for 48 years.
PLYMOUTH - In a release from the Indiana Department of Transportation: The snow has picked up dramatically in the last hour. Crews are out plowing and salting, but many roads in this area are covering fast.
Officials are urging people to postpone travel on these roads -
U.S. 31, U.S. 20 Bypass, SR 933, SR 2, SR 23, SR 331, or parts of U.S. 30 in the South Bend, Mishawaka and Plymouth areas - until crews have had a chance to catch up.
Plymouth Community Schools have cancelled classes for November 27th.
MARSHALL COUNTY â€” The county remains under a lake effect snow advisory until later this evening, according to the National Weather Service. As much as five inches of snow may accumulate in this weather event.

ARGOS â€” Fire departments are on scene of a house fire in the 100 block of South Maple Street. All occupants of the home evacuated safely.

CULVER â€” The Culver Community School board voted unanimously at its Nov. 25 meeting to hire Dr. Vicki McGuire as its new superintendent
of schools, replacing outgoing superintendent Brad Schuldt, who will retire as of Jan. 1.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â The Thanksgiving holiday will move the Plymouth trash pick-up schedule back one day for Thursday's trash and recycle pick-up. Allied Waste is closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and will pick up trash and recycling in Plymouth on Friday, Nov. 29. Please remember that your trash and recycling are to be placed at the curb for pick-up at 6 a.m.

CULVER â€” In the preseason, CMA basketball coach Mark Galloway summed up this yearâ€™s team philosophy with one word: defense.
And by that measure, Mondayâ€™s season-opener against visiting Indianapolis Home School was a success. But the Eagles were also pretty good on the offensive end, too.
