Fresh from a convincing road win at Knox Wednesday night, Plymouth earned its second victory on back-to-back nights with a 50-33 win over visiting Tippecanoe Valley at home at The Rock Thursday night.
The Lady Pilgrims remained unbeaten at 6-0 with the result.

NORTHEAST INDIANA â€” A winter weather system IS expected to make its way to Indiana on Thursday evening, state officials are warning Hoosiers to prepare in advance. Preparations include charging cell phones and other items in case power is interrupted, evaluating whether driving is necessary, taking your time if you decide to drive, and gathering items for your car and home in case they are needed.

PLYMOUTH â€” Plymouth FOP Lodge 195 in partnership with Plymouth radio station WTCA AM 1050 is going to be having their annual Shop With a Cop auction this Friday, Dec. 6 beginning at 8:21a.m. The auction will take place on the 1050AM radio station.
There are over 400 items up for bid with all proceeds going to the Marshall County Shop With a Cop. Those interested in bidding are encouraged to call the radio station and get their bidder number as early as possible. You may call 574-936-4096 for your number.

LAKEVILLE â€”Â Oregon-Davisâ€™ girls basketball team excelled in a couple of key statistics Wednesday â€”Â free-throw shooting percentage and turnovers.
Of course, the rest of the stat sheet looked pretty tidy for the Class A No. 1 Lady Cats, too.
OD sank 22-of-25 tosses from the charity stripe, turned the ball over just 11 times â€”Â six through the first three frames â€” notched 42 points off 31 LaVille turnovers, and landed all five starters in double figures in the opening three quarters en route to a 90-26 rout of the Lancers at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium.
Plymouth wins in Knox
Plymouthâ€™s girls basketball team moved to 5-0 with a 46-30 defeat of the host Redskins in Knox Wednesday night.
The Lady Pilgrims finished 45 percent from the floor (21-of-46 as they rallied back from a narrow 6-5 first quarter deficit to hand Knox its third loss.
Hunter Stevens scored 14 points, Kaydon Fosler put up nine points with seven rebounds, and Britney Horvath scored nine as six different Plymouth players made the scoresheet.

Marilyn J. Zartman, age 73, of Kewanna, passed away at 12:40 p.m., on Sat., Nov. 30, 2013, at Pulaski Health Care Center, in Winamac.
Marilyn was born on Sept. 22, 1940, in Kewanna, to Joseph and Rosa Nell (Manes) MacLain. Marilynâ€™s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also loved to embroider and gave many of her beautiful items, to her family. She worked at Caseyâ€™s, in Plymouth, for over 12 years, before moving to Kewanna to live closer to her family.
