âąMary Elizabeth Balboa, 31 of Plymouth was arrested by the Plymouth Police at 11:50 a.m. on May 24 for theft.
âąMarco Tulio Padilla Lopez, 31 of Plymouth was arrested by Indiana State Police at 4:35 on May 24 for operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license, refusal to identify, identity deception, possible display of a fictitious suspended or altered drivers license use of false information on application for an ID card.
âąDereck Michael Pinkowski, 21 of Plymouth was arrested by Marshall County Sheriff's Department for a probation violation.
CULVER â Culver Communityâs young baseball team opened the year with just one win in its first 13 games. Fast forward to Tuesday, and the Cavaliers are sectional champions.
Collin Stevens scattered six hits pitching a complete-game shutout, Nick Pritz scored both of the Cavsâ runs, and the home team got back on top, 2-0 over Triton at Class A Sectional 51 in Culver Tuesday night.
MONROE â Kara Keller hit a walk-off home run batting in the eighth spot in the Adams Central lineup, and the host Jets handed visiting Bremen a heartbreaking 5-2 loss in regional play in Monroe Tuesday night.
The Lady Lions led 2-1 going into the bottom of the seventh, but two errors put runners on first and third, Jets pitcher Sydnee Peterson scored the tying run on Liz Luginbillâs bloop single to the right side of the infield, and Kellerâs three-run shot straight out to center gave Adams Central the repeat regional championship.
Kolden lifts CMA in 12
Trent Kolden came through with a pair of big hits for Culver Military, and the Eagles outlasted Jimtown 13-12 in a 12-inning marathon win at the Class 3A Plymouth Baseball Sectional Tuesday.
Koldenâs RBI double in the bottom of the ninth gave the Eagles new life, and hist walk-off homer in the 12th pushed CMA into the championship game opposite St. Joe today.
The win came on the heels of another extra-inning victory over Mishawaka Marian, a 6-5, eight-inning affair last Friday.

PLYMOUTH â Bradford W. Long, 62, and a Plymouth resident for more than 36 years, passed away unexpectedly in his home Monday, May 27, 2013.
Bradford Wayne Long was born Feb. 3, 1951 in Warsaw to Ernest D. and Gloria (Betzer) Long. He graduated from Warsaw High School.
On June 20, 1977 Bradford married Candi Sullivan in Plymouth, and together they had three children.
Bradford was working for International Wire in Bremen for 15 years. He previously worked for BOF in Argos.
Leslie G. âTuffyâ Grubbs

BOURBON âÂ Leslie G. âTuffyâ Grubbs, 85, of Bourbon died at 7:50 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Mason Health Care of Warsaw.
He was born June 23, 1927 in Mentone to Peter and Ada (Bradley) Grubbs.
On Sept. 25, 1945 in Mentone, he married Doris L. Flenar; she survives.
He had worked at Manwaring of Mentone and later worked at Zimmer Orthopedics of Warsaw for 17 years where he retired in 1990.
Lorene Labelle DeWitt
April 24, 1917 - May 26, 2013
CULVER âÂ Lorene Labelle DeWitt, 96, of Culver and formerly of the Argos community died May 26, 2013 at 2:16 p.m. at Millerâs Merry Manor of Culver; she had been in declining health for several months.
She was born April 24, 1917 in Nappanee to Melvin A. and Verda (Naylor) Hochstetler. She had lived in the Argos community for 73 years.
On Nov. 14, 1936 in Akron, she married Howard W. DeWitt, who preceded her on July 5, 1975.
She worked as a secretary and telephone operator at Culver Military Academy for more than 35 years.
John C. Bradley
March 14, 1946 - May 25, 2013
PLYMOUTH â John Clinton Bradley, age 67, of Plymouth passed away at 10:27 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at St. Vincentâs Hospital in Carmel following surgery complications.
He was born March 14, 1946 in Rochester to Bob and Betty (Carr) Bradley, and graduated from Rochester High School in 1964. He has resided in Plymouth since 1977.
John married Dina Bradley on Valentineâs Day in 1970 in Rochester. He was father to Jonathon and Elizabeth Bradley, grandfather to Sydney and Avery Bradley.
Richard D. Norton

GROVERTOWN â Richard D. Norton, 72, died Friday, May 24, 2013 in Grovertown.
Survivors include one son, Ronald Norton; one daughter, Cassandra Norton and one sister, Sharon Norton of South Bend.
Bremen freshman Drew Coffel's three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning lifted the Lions past the host Warriors, 8-7, for the Class 2A Westview Baseball Sectional championship on Monday night.
