SOUTH BEND âÂ Jeffrey David Robertson, 39, of South Bend, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 in Culver surrounded by family and friends.
KNOX âÂ Adam Wagers, 82, of Knox died peacefully at home. He was born June 27, 1930 to Taylor (Martha Frylee) Wagers in Jackson, Ky. Adam married Goldie Fugate on July 26, 1952. They were happily married for 61 years, she survives.
Adam worked for Blue Diamond Coal Company in Jackson, Ky. He then moved to Indiana to work for The Nickel Plate Rail Road. Adam eventually owned and operated Wagers Salvage in Argos, which is now operated by his son Russell.
Robert Dean Morris

ROCHESTER â Robert Dean âBobâ Morris, age 67, of North Main Street, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at the Woodlawn Hospital.
Bob was born in Plymouth on April 11, 1945 to Charles Chester and Luella Christina Morris.
He worked at Dimmittâs Auto Salvage, working on cars and finding car parts. In his free time, Bob did electrical and welding work.
Robert âBobâ Leon Stone

ARGOS âÂ Robert âBobâ Leon Stone, 67, formerly of Argos, died Feb. 23, 2013 at 1 a.m. at Life Care Center, Rochester following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 21, 1945 in Stockbridge, Mich. to Prock and Grace (Salyer) Stone. He lived most of his life in the Argos community.
On Nov. 25, 1965 in Bremen, he married the love of his life, Rita Ann Jamison; she preceded Aug. 23, 2005.
Nancy L. Heinzmann Van Lue

ROCHESTER âÂ Nancy L. Heinzmann Van Lue, 66, of Rochester died at 9:59 a.m. Friday Feb. 22, 2013 at her residence.
Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Heinzmann Hunsberger, Argos, Carmen Heinzmann Wilson, Akron, Amy (Todd) Behny, Akron, Rebecca Heinzmann, Rochester, Alyson Heinzmann, Rochester; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Vera Lynne Utter, Rochester; and brother, Michael James (Lois) Lyons, Rochester.
KNOX â Fifteen children and two adults, including the driver were taken to IU Health Starke Hospital Monday morning after the Marshall - Starke Head Start Bus they were traveling in was hit by a commercial flatbed vehicle.
Knox City Police are investigating the accident, which happened at the intersection of U.S. 35 and Lake Street, in Knox, at 7:57 a.m.
According to the police report, witnesses at the scene said the Marshall-Starke Head Start bus was crossing U.S. 35 and had the right away. The driver of the commercial flatbed allegedly blew the red light and crashed into the bus.
PLYMOUTH â Plymouth Community School Corporation has postponed Tuesday's Kindergarten Round-up due to predicted bad weather.
The Round-up will now take place Thursday, Feb. 28.
Since non-resident students can now attend PCSC with no tuition, parents are invited to bring their children to Plymouth for the Round-up. All of the elementary schools will be holding registration in two sessions, 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Parents and children need only attend one session. Each session should last no longer than an hour.

Plymouth Public Library is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and director Susie Reinholt along with long-time librarians Debbie Beck and Linda Hindman recently gathered to share some thoughts about the future of the library.
Though all agreed that they canât see a time when books are obsolete, the three women said that peopleâs needs for the library have changed significantly as technology advances.
PLYMOUTH - A fond memory of the culture of the town of Plymouth has lost one half of one of itâs most famous teams.
Last Friday Corky Lingle passed away at the age of 77. Corky had been in ill health the past few years.
In his younger days Corky and Rick Derf were the WTCA voice of nearly every Plymouth basketball and football memory that many of us have.
Bremenâs Nolan Filchak wrapped up a sensational sophomore season with a 16th-place finish in the 100 butterfly at the 76th Annual IHSAA Boys State Swim Finals Saturday in Indianapolis.
