Culver Academies' Huffington Concert Series continues Monday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. with The Official Blues Brothers Revue, a nationally touring concert experience which integrates the humor and songs from the original "Blues Brothers" film and subsequent albums.

MIDDLEBURY â Effort was in abundance, but Plymouth was one defensive stop short in dropping an overtime road game to Northridge 51-49.
âI think we played hard, but I donât know what it is â lack of listening, lack of execution at key times,â said Plymouth head coach Ryan Bales. âLetâs face it â we gave up dribble penetration at key stretches. We get a chance to stop them and we couldnât get the lead down the stretch there. We were there. One possession game.â
LAKEVILLE â LaVilleâs Andrew Hostetler reached a personal milestone early in the first quarter and just kept piling on the points.
With the first of his five 3-pointers Friday, the 5-foot-11 senior guard scaled the 1,000-career-points plateau and set the stage for the Lancersâ 46-33 Northern State Conference boys basketball victory over visiting Culver Community at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium.
WALKERTON â Any game after a big emotional win always carries the risk of a letdown.
John Glennâs thrilling down-to-the-wire Bi-County championship win over LaVille last Saturday certainly qualified as a big, emotional win, but the Falcons quickly dispelled any fears of a letdown in their Northern State Conference match-up with Knox Friday.

Triton superstar Clay Yeo erupted for a game-high 36 points to lead the Trojans to a 55-43 Northern State Conference boys basketball win at Jimtown Friday.
Tanner Shepherd chipped in 10 points for the Trojans.
Triton plays at Argos Tuesday.

COVINGTON, Ga. â Guy Bixel, 80, of Covington, Ga. died Jan. 23, 2013.
He was born Dec. 9, 1932 to Henry and Jennie Bixel and served his country from May 1951 to August 1953 with the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Willadeen and Betty. Guy is survived by his loving wife, Diane, and children in many forms: Brian, Lisa, Brenda, Michael, Emily, Jessica, Mark (and Lori), and Matt. There are also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many, many friends.
Kenneth O. Henry
Nov. 25, 1919-Jan. 22, 2013
PLYMOUTH â Kenneth O. Henry, 93, a former resident of Plymouth, passed away at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22 in the Bremen Health Care Center.
Kenneth was born in Winamac on Nov. 25, 1919, the son of Omer and Nellie (Hodge) Henry. He attended Winamac Schools and March 27, 1942 he set off to serve in the United States Army - 11th Airborne Division attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. It was Feb. 16, 1945 as a Squad Leader in the Philippines that he was wounded under enemy fire and received a Purple Heart. He was honorable discharged Oct. 20, 1945.
Pauline E. Burch

WALKERTON â Pauline E. Burch, 93, a Marshall County resident for most of her life, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Millerâs Merry Manor, Walkerton.
Pauline was born Jan. 14, 1920 to Nathan and Laura G. (Johnson) Baker in South Bend. She graduated from Tyner High School in 1938. On his 21st birthday, Pauline was married to Dwight Burch on Oct. 21, 1939 in Tyner.
Pauline was a member of the Blissville Church of The Brethren for more than 70 years, and taught childrenâs Sunday school and Vacation Bible School.

PLYMOUTH â A shake up in the Plymouth Police Department was announced late Friday afternoon as Mayor Mark Senter has tabbed Dave Bacon to be the next Chief of Police.
Bacon takes over for Jim Cox, who will remain with the department as a Detective Sergeant.
Cox is a 24-year veteran of the department. He was retained by Senter as chief when the mayor first took office five years ago.
Senter cited some leadership skills in Bacon that led to the move.
Bacon has spent the last nine years on PPD as the assistant chief.
PLYMOUTH - As bone chilling temperatures make their way across the area again this week, many will recall a similar chill 35 years ago.
While there have been others since, the âBlizzard of â78â - that lasted from the evening of Jan. 25 until Jan. 27 - still lives as the worst snow storm on record for the state of Indiana.
