SOUTH BEND — With potential conference titles on the line next weekend for wrestling teams from both John Glenn and Plymouth, you would expect to see the Falcons and Rockies at their best, all the time, during a big tournament like Saturday’s Northern Indiana Conference super dual.
Yeah. You would expect.
“We did wrestle hard most of the day. The problem is, we need to wrestle hard all of the day,” grumbled Plymouth coach Bob Read following his team’s 3-2 finish in the 12-team mat carnival at South Bend Washington.

CGA resumes play with win
The Lady Eagles hit the court running after nearly month-long holiday layover, and Culver Girls Academy claimed a 71-13 rout of visiting Lakeland Christian Saturday.
Andrijana Cvitkovic and Victoria Christlieb scored 23 and 22 points, respectively, for CGA, and Cvitkovic finished with 15 rebounds and five assists. Alle Baker also finished in double figures with 10 points in the win, which pushes the team to 8-5 on the season.
