LaVille’s Andrew Hostetler put up 21 points with five 3s as LaVille won its opener at the Peru Tournament Thursday against North Miami.
Argos’ Kayla Prochno put up a combined 30 points in two games as the Lady Dragons finished runner-up at the four-team Winter Classic last week.
It’s official. Plymouth native Morgan Uceny is the No. 1 women’s 1500-meter runner in the world.
So says Track & Field News magazine, which released it’s annual year-end rankings late Saturday, just before the New Year’s ball dropped in New York.
Track & Field News, known as the “Bible of the Sport,” has been compiling World and National rankings each year since 1947. A world-wide panel of experts votes on each event and the results are considered the “official” rankings of the running community.
