PLYMOUTH — Marshall County will soon be helping out the town of Argos when it comes to building permits.
Argos town clerk Patty Jones and town council member Mark VanDerWeele visited the Marshall County commissioners meeting Monday to discuss the county’s possible assistance.
“We are looking for a consistency in our building permits,” said Jones, adding that their town officials do not have the opportunity to stay up to date on building regulations as county officials do.
The town of Argos only issues between 25 and 50 building permits each year.
