CULVER â€”Â John T. Drang, 71, of Culver died Aug. 3, 2012 at 11:30 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Rochelle â€śShellyâ€ť Drang of Culver; son, Joel Drang of Culver; daughters, Sherry (Tim) Davis of Bloomington, Sarah Drang of Culver; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Drang of Ora; sister, Mildred Gaines of Crystal River, Fla.; three grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Linda Drang of Pisgah, Ala., Mary Drang of Kouts.

ROCHESTER â€”Â Mr. Steven L. Stamberger, 49, of Rochester, passed away at 1:15 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at the intersection of Indiana S.R. 42 & 59, in Brazil, following a motor vehicle accident.
PLYMOUTH â€”Â Dr. George Drew, an emergency room physician at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth, might be more interested than the average American in watching the Summer Olympics this year. As a coach with USA Gymnastics, Drew has had the opportunity to train Olympic athletes. He also sat on a judgeâ€™s panel for a testing event in London for this yearâ€™s games.
â€śTo work with athletes at the highest level, and be able to be their physician and gain their trust is very rewarding, as well as meeting people all over the world as a judge,â€ť said Drew.
MARSHALL CO. â€”Â Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger reported that Roger R. Martin, 61, of
Huntley, Ill. was fatally injured Sunday during a boating accident on
Lake Latonka, south of Plymouth. Martin was riding in a boat with other family members
when he fell overboard as the boat was making a sharp turn to pick up another family member who
had fallen off a large rubber tube that was being towed behind the boat. Martin was run over by the boat after falling into the water. He was pronounced dead at 5:15 p.m. at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.s should be availa
LONDON â€” Plymouth native Morgan Uceny clocked a 4:06.87, inching out Belarus' Natallia Kareiva in a photo finish for second place in the third heat of the first round of the women's 1500-meter run at the London Olympics Monday morning.

LONDON â€” While Morgan Ucenyâ€™s family cheers her on as she competes for the gold in the womenâ€™s 1500 meters at the Olympics in London this week, Morganâ€™s mother, Brenda, has graciously agreed to share photos and updates of their experience at the summer games.
The Ucenys have gotten a front row seat at the Olympics and are taking the opportunity to do a little sightseeing in London as well. Here Morgan and father Marty share a moment before an Adidas press conference Saturday in London.
