PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth swim team is in need of a new pool since Plymouth High School's pool was closed earlier this year due to age and disrepair. Leanne Senter, PHS swim coach, is working with the Plymouth Aquatics Club to organize fundraisers for a new community pool. The first of these fundraisers, a "Splash Bash," will be held August 4 at the Plymouth Public Pool and the Young Amphitheater in Centennial Park. The day-long event kicks off at 9 a.m. with a kid's swim meet, open to any interested child.

PLYMOUTH — When it comes to fun with kids, "free" is a word that every parent can appreciate. This Saturday, the Plymouth Park Department and Coca-Cola are putting on a free family fun day at Young Amphitheater in Centennial Park. The day begins at 10 a.m. with balloon artist Art Heminger, a bounce house, face painting, cornhole, and more.
"It's a good, inexpensive way to spend time with family and have some fun," said Plymouth Park Department recreation director Scott Michel.
