There are quite a few reasons for getting a college education and they are the obvious reasons you have already thought about. Your education is your planned effort to learn and build learning skills. A degree can help open doors to better jobs and build skills you need to create your own opportunities in business and life. A college degree is a useful signal to others that you can learn, and stay engaged in learning.

Elsie Kathleen Kirby was born Dec. 4, 1922 in the family home at Pacolet Mills, S.C. in Spartanburg County. Kathleen was the first child of MayBelle Seay Kirby and Archie Kirby. She attended South Carolina Local Schools and graduated from Fair Forest High School in the class of 1939.

BREMEN âÂ Suzanne Marie Schrader, 50, of Bremen died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at home. She was born June 16, 1962 in Bremen to John M. and Marsha L. (Balmer) Schrader. Suzanne graduated with the class of 1980 from Bremen High School.
Suzanneâs family remembers her as their loving and fun Aunt Susie that was always there for them and now, will always be missed. Her family was her world; she loved her nieces and nephew very much. Suzanne also enjoyed music, animals, bowling, and shopping.

The daughter of Glen Edward and Dora Blanche Carlson Farver, Doris was born July 5, 1934 in LaPaz. She attended LaPaz Schools.
Doris had been a machine operator at Bendix in South Bend for 20 years, leaving in 1971 with a disability.
An avid reader, Doris also enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking and especially spending time with her family.
