BOURBON — Triton junior Clay Yeo was named Friday to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association’s Underclass All-State first team.
Yeo was one of just 15 underclassmen in the state to receive the honor after an outstanding junior season in which he set three program scoring records — the single-game record with 44 points against Rochester Feb. 14, the single season record with 675 points, and the career scoring record with 1,335.
Many merchants and other occupying entities of Culver's downtown area seemed generally pleased with a special recent meeting to discuss a major revitalization project there, but the March 8 meeting was not without controversy.
PLYMOUTH — A group of Plymouth High School students returned from the Business Professionals of America (BPA) state competition in Indianapolis Tuesday, and three have qualified for the national competition in April, held in Chicago.
Faculty sponsor Jennifer Felke said that Kelly Bryant, Logan May, and Jessica Cleveland have the opportunity to move on to the national competition in Chicago. Bryant qualified in fundamental word processing, May in computer security, and Cleveland in desktop publishing.

MISHAWAKA — The 2012 Michiana McDonald’s High School All-Star rosters were announced Thursday in preparation for the event taking place Monday at 7 p.m. on the campus of Bethel College.
Plymouth sophomore center Mack Mercer, Triton junior forward Clay Yeo, and North Judson seniors John Eckert and Winston Yergler have all been selected to play in the all-star game.
