PLYMOUTH – Ironically, it was just two months ago that Rick Cooper, Jr. was razzed about his comment to “What I’m Thankful For” in this publication’s Thanksgiving edition. Naturally sarcastic, Cooper said, “I’m thankful that tax time is less than two months away.” After all, he has a transmission to replace in his out-of-commission car.

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Park Department is partnering with resident Jane Blank to collect clothing and shoe donations until Jan. 23. Donations of gently used women's, men's and children's clothing and shoes can be dropped off at the park office until Jan. 23.
Blank decided to organize a community clothing drive around Thanksgiving.
"I just thought that there is so much waste (of used clothes)," said Blank, explaining that although clothes are often donated to Goodwill and other similar organizations, "some people can't afford the five dollars or whatever it is to buy from Goodwill."
