MISHAWAKA — Arnold P. Bailey, 84, of Mishawaka, died at 5:25 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 in Golden Living Center in Knox.
Arnold was born Feb. 23, 1928 in Englewood, N.J. to the late Clarence and Josephine (Adams) Bailey. Also preceding him in death was a son, Andrew Peter Bailey in 1992.
June 11, 1951 in Wheaton, Ill., Arnold married the former Doris J. Stubbs. Doris died Dec. 28, 2008. Surviving him is a daughter, Ruth Bailey of Knox.
Harold E. Reed Sr.

BREMEN — Harold E. Reed Sr., 88, of Bremen passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at home. He was born Dec. 10, 1923 to Emery and Olive (Musser) Reed in Plymouth. Harold married Marjorie Schlemmer Aug. 17, 1947; she preceded him in death Oct. 17, 2001.
Harold graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 1941. He went on to honorably serve his country as part of the United States Army in World War II. Harold worked for NIPSCO for 26 years in construction, in addition to the many times he helped out his friends and family.

PLYMOUTH — Mildred Alamedia Jones, 96, formerly of Macy, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Survivors include her four sons, Berne L. (Holly) Jones, Kooskia, Idaho; Glen E. (Chris) Jones, Rochester; Dale L. (Sherry) Jones, Oxford; and Carl D. “Pete” (Ladeana) Jones, Peru; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.

Marion M. Reynard

PLYMOUTH — Marion M. Reynard, 76, of Plymouth, for the past 26 years, died of natural causes at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 in Miller’s Merry Manor.
Marion was born in Kutztown, Pa. Feb. 15, 1936. She was the daughter of Frank D. and Rose (Lamb) Merkel.
She attended Kutztown High School, and Nov. 4, 1961 Marion married Harold W. Reynard in Breinigsville, Pa.
PLYMOUTH - An area group is hoping to provide tools for Marshall County residents to help law enforcement take a bite out of crime.
The Marshall County Drug Free Committee in conjunction with Plymouth FOP Lodge #195 is producing a “Hot Spot Card” to allow residents to provide tips to the Marshall County Drug Task Force anonymously. Any resident can fill out the card and simply drop it in the mail. Postage is paid and the tips are followed up on by investigators.
