Argos senior Jami Patterson scored twice as the Lady Dragons beat Bethany Christian for a share of the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference championship Saturday.

After four meets in the space of eight days culminating with Saturdayâ€™s Northern Lakes Conference championships at Ox Bow Park, Plymouth coach Jami Holm can tell her team needs a break.
â€śI told them after the meet, Iâ€™m looking forward to the 10 days weâ€™ve got with them before the sectionals, more so for resting than training,â€ť said Holm following Saturdayâ€™s NLC tournament. â€śI want them to rest, they need the rest.â€ť
ARGOS â€” The Northern Indiana Soccer Conference (NISC) was formed in 1969 to foster the growth of high school soccer, then only six years old in Indiana. Saturday night, two of the charter members of the conference, Argos and Bethany Christian, met in a boys and girls varsity doubleheader for the conference titles.

The boys match featured pair of Class A ranked teams, with Bethany at No. 6 and Argos at No. 19. The season finale was also the conference title game as both teams came in with unblemished 4-0 NISC marks.
Lady Pilgrims win Adams Tourney
Plymouthâ€™s volleyball team won the championship at the South Bend Adams Tournament over the weekend with a trio of two-game wins over Riley (25-19, 25-15), Mishawaka and host Adams (25-15, 25-18).
Amber Redinger finished the tourney with 19 kills and six assists, while Marissa German recorded 18 kills, four aces and 10 digs, Haley Harrell set 55 assists and served four aces, and Mikayla German finished with 22 digs and four aces.
Carly Baker led the team in blocking with nine stuffs, while Emily Eveland finished with four aces.
