Argos Community Schools Board of School Trustees will meet in executive session at 6:45 p.m. at the school administration building. A regular meeting will immediately follow the executive session, with a board of finance committee meeting to follow the regular meeting.
PLYMOUTH â€” After serving on the Marshall County Election Board since the early 1990s, Steve Harper is stepping down.
Harper announced his resignation at the Election Board meeting Thursday, and filed for a seat on the County Council Wednesday, indicating he felt his position on the board could be viewed as a conflict.
Harper said he had spoken with Marshall County Republican Chair David Holmes concerning the matter prior to submitting a resignation.
According to Harper, the resignation became effective at the end of the Election Board meeting Jan. 12.
Plymouthâ€™s Ryan McNeil scored a team-high 18 points as the Pilgrims snapped a three-game skid with a conference win over Concord Friday.
Plymouthâ€™s Traci Longanecker earned personal bests in all her events to help lift the Lady Pilgrims to a dual meet gymnastics win Saturday.
PLYMOUTH â€” Plymouthâ€™s underclassmen stepped up to help give their seniors a present on Senior Day Saturday.
Freshman Cassi Quisell won the vault, floor and bars on her way to all-around top honors, while junior Traci Longanecker scored personal bests in all her events to win the beam and finish second in the vault, floor and in the all-around as the Lady Pilgrims beat both Lowell and Tippecanoe Valley in a three-way meet at home.
LaPORTE â€” The Plymouth Pilgrims were able to build an early lead but couldnâ€™t capitalize on opportunities to build on it, and the LaPorte Slicers pulled away in the end to get the victory on Saturday night in LaPorte, 59-45.
Plymouth used good offensive movement and defensive effort to break out to a 6-0 lead, holding the Slicers scoreless for the first four minutes of the game and getting the ball in the hands of 6â€™9â€ť sophomore center Mack Mercer for three quick field goals.Â

Plymouth went 3-2 and John Glenn went 1-4 in Pool A wrestling at the Northern Indiana Conference Wrestling Tournament Saturday.
The Rockies lost to Clay and Penn and beat Adams, St. Joe and Glenn, while the Falcons beat St. Joe at the big meet.
Neither Plymouth nor Glenn was able to field any individual champions, but Osman Solis, Ian Horvath and DeAndre Pickford all went 4-1 for Plymouth at 113, 160 and 220, respectively.
Also for the Rockies, Kam Markovich, Stephen Abair and Jacob Segraves finished 3-2 at 120, 132 and 195.

NORTH JUDSON â€” Family, friends and members of the community packed inside Braman & Bailey Funeral Home in North Judson Sunday, Jan. 15 to celebrate the life of Spc. Robert â€śBobbyâ€ť Tauteris Jr. and to say their final goodbyes.
Bobby lost his life Jan. 6 in Kandahar Afghanistan when the vehicle he was traveling in hit a roadside bomb. Three other soldiers lost their lives in the blast and one was seriously injured.
Bobby grew up in North Judson and was a 1986 graduate of North Judson High School.
