PLYMOUTH — For the first time ever, all five Plymouth student orchestras are getting together for a community performance. “The Plymouth Orchestras Concert and Dessert” will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Lincoln Junior High Auditorium, followed by cookies and punch in the cafeteria. Featured will be the PCYO Concert, Symphony and Chamber orchestras as well as the Lincoln Junior High and Plymouth High School orchestras.

Wabash wins NCAC, earns NCAA tourney berth
Plymouth alum Austin Hodges and North Judson grad C.J. Gum led the Wabash defense a second straight game as the Little Giants won the North Coast Athletic Conference with a 28-17 victory over Wittenberg Saturday.
Hodges and Gum each finished with seven tackles.

Ball State wins exhibition
Randy Davis finished with five points, three assists and two blocks as Ball State posted a 72-47 exhibition victory over Taylor at home at Worthen Arena in Muncie Monday.
INDIANAPOLIS — Following an extensive review of the sport, the IHSAA Executive Committee voted unanimously to discontinue the Team Wrestling State Tournament following the 2011-12 school year.
Following this year’s wrestling sectionals on Saturday, Jan. 28, the final separate team tournament will commence with regionals on Wednesday, Feb. 1 and the state finals on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Center Grove High School in Greenwood.
