October 22, 2011

WALKERTON — The painful memories of last week's tough loss to Bremen quickly disappeared Friday night for the John Glenn High football team.
Josh Anderson ran the opening kickoff back 41 yards and then proceeded to ramble 40 more for the first of his four touchdowns, allowing Glenn to cruise to a 51-6 victory over Hammond Gavit in Class 3-A Sectional 17 opening round action at a frigid Falcon Field.

ANGOLA – Throughout the regular season, the Plymouth football team struggled under adversity.
In Friday’s sectional contest at Angola, the Rockies responded when it mattered most.
Plymouth battled back from a 14-0 deficit in the first quarter and capitalized with scores on each of eight Angola turnovers on its way to a 49-21 victory in a wild Class 4A Sectional 11 opener.
