WARSAW — Heading into the Warsaw Girls Golf Sectional, the Lady Pilgrims knew all they needed to do was hit their averages to make the cut out.
They weren’t quite up to that task, but Plymouth still survived to play another day, beating out Culver Girls Academy for third place behind winner Wawasee and host Warsaw at Stonehenge golf Club.
Plymouth High School senior Meagan Barron was honored Friday night as Plymouth’s 2010 Homecoming Queen. Also pictured is Sean Smith, Barron’s escort. Crowning Barron was last year’s queen, Carly Plumlee.

PLYMOUTH — The distribution of 580 MacBook computers at Lincoln Junior High in Plymouth last week was undoubtedly a joyous occasion for Principal Dan Funston. Funston had spent countless hours writing a grant application that netted a payoff of $50,000 to be used towards the lease of the computers that were put directly into the hands of every student in the school.
The grant was entitled “Classroom Innovations in Math;” however, the laptops are also being used for social studies.
