PLYMOUTH â€” Doris May Rovenstine, 98, passed away at 12:10 a.m., of natural causes at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Plymouth.Â
A former resident of the communities of Bourbon and Bremen, she has made her home for the past five years in the Millerâ€™s Assisted Living Center in Plymouth.
She was born in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Jesse S. and Ethel (Campbell) Ward Aug. 7, 1912.Â She graduated from Crawfordsville High and then Indiana University â€“ Bloomington with a degree in social work.Â Following graduation she worked in Terre Haute, as a social worker.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â Rex Allen, Sr., 61, died of natural causes at his home at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. I5, 2010.
Born Feb. 5, 1949, in Curtis, Mich., Rex was the son of Alvin and Marian Etoile Griffith Allen. Dec. 24, 1966, in Knox, Rex took Nancy Gilbert as his bride.
Rex worked and retired from the Indiana State Highway Department. He was a foreman and heavy equipment supervisor and worked there for 23 years.

ELKHART â€” Patricia Collums, 80, of Bremen, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at Center for Hospice, Elkhart.
She is survived by daughters, Marika (Timothy) Kunder of Bremen and Cindie (Jack) Shumaker of Grand Island, Fla.; sons, Allen (Arlie) Wardlow of Albertville, Ala.; 33 grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Carey of Frostproof, Fla. and Lou Kincade of Cicero; four stepdaughters; and a stepson.

MARYVILLE, Tenn. â€” Phyllis Jean Whisnant, 84, of Maryville, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; sons, Lewis (Sandy) Whisnant of Lenoir City, Tenn., Dwight Whisnant of Bradenton, Fla., and Glen (Joyce) Whisnant of Alabama; daughters, Linda (Tim) Studabaker of Boulder, Colo. and Carol Whisnant of Lakewood, Colo.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and cousins.
Visitation took place from 1 to 2 p.. Saturday, Aug. 28 at Smith Trinity Chapel, Maryville.

VAPARAISO â€” Robert Louis Okeley, 75, of Valparaiso, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; sons, David (Terri) Okeley of Wanatah and Robert N. Okeley of Valparaiso; daughters: Christine Rains of Valparaiso, Cynthia West of Bakersfield, Calif., Sara Brown of Valparaiso, and Kathleen (Tom) Stigert of Valparaiso; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald and Charles Okeley; and sisters: Elsie Papp, Lila Rudd, Joyce Bailey, Doris Wrovlewski, and Alice Miller.

WALKERTON â€”Â Alex Clemons, 74, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.Â
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; daughters: Crystal (Randy) Givens of Walkerton, Juliet (Rodney) Keeling of Plymouth, Janeen (Laszlo) Kovach of Granger, Cherie Marek of North Liberty and Angela (Joseph) Clemons of South Bend; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Louise (Adam) Mann of Walkerton.Â

WAKARUSA â€” Glenna H. Andrews, 93, Nappanee, died at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
She is survived by a son, Larry Andrews of Nappanee; a daughter-in-law, Sheri (Rich) Dodson of Nappanee; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19 and one hour prior to services Monday, at Union Center Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20 at the church.
Burial will follow at Union Center Cemetery.

PLYMOUTH â€” Sharon M. Senne Edwards, 73, of Plymouth, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, John; daughters: Diane (Arnold) Siegert of Battle Creek, Mich., Doris (Donald) Newcomb of Dyersburg, Debra (Roger Sr.) Petimone of Scottsdale, Ariz.; son, Dean (Sharon) Senne of Bartlett, Ill.; stepson, Mark Edwards of Addison, Ill.; stepdaughter, Jennifer Edwards of DeKalb. Ill.; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Baker of Reedsville, N.C.; an aunt, Loretta Dolski of Omro, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.
