BREMEN â Eugene âGeneâ Carithers, 85, of Bremen, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at the Bremen Health Care Center.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Carithers; and sisters, Mary Jo Luke of Goshen and Ruth Smith of Ligonier.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donorâs choice.

DONALDSON â Sister Jeanette Cyr, PHJC, 96 years old, died of natural causes at 12:15 p.m. in the Catherine Kasper Life Center Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010.
Sister Jeanette was born, the daughter of Stephen and Milanese Patnaude Cyr, in Fowler, Ind. June 21, 1914. She entered the Poor Hand Maids Convent Dec. 7, 1930 and professed her vows June 25, 1933.
She was educated and trained in home nursing and social services. Her ministry in life was as a kindergarten teacher, an office manager and bookkeeper and home nursing with a ministry to the elderly.

PLYMOUTH â Robert A. âBobâ Richard, 74, died at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 in the Life Care Center at Rochester, due to natural causes. It was fitting that he should receive his Heavenly Reward on the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception in honor of Christâs mother Mary, as he always held great devotion to her.
The sledding hill at Centennial Park has been full of children and adults alike, taking advantage of the recent snowfall.

FF/Paramedic Deanna Cleveland has been named as the Assistant Chief - EMS for the Plymouth Fire Department.
She is a five-year veteran of the Plymouth Fire Department as a career and volunteered with the service prior to that.

Using a swarming 1-3-1 zone, the Eagles limited Zehner to 12 points on just eight shot attempts, forced 26 turnovers, and held the previously-unbeaten Cavs to a 23 percent mark from the field in a 62-40 win at John R. Nelson Gymnasium Wednesday.
The Academyâs Andrijana Cvitkovic, a 6-foot-2 sophomore, and 6-3 senior reserve Casey Hall gave the Eagles the height and muscle to handle both the 6-1 Zehner and her teammate, 6-3 Patrice McBee.
